An overnighter at Ryvoan bothy, September 2017 after walking 16 miles from Aviemore via the Speyside Way (turning off at Nethy Bridge). I was surprised to find a familiar face already at the bothy when I arrived and even more surprised when three randoms turned up with a bottle of Whisky just before midnight!
Bothy advice: If you are visiting a bothy folks, remember and take out your rubbish when you leave, there is no cleaner on duty!
